Ban on Pixel Phone Resellers lifted by Google

Earlier in the 3rd week of November certain customers took advantage of a tax loophole and earn a profit by reselling the Google’s Pixel phones, as a result company banned hundreds of them.

The customers that came into questioning were those who purchased the device through Google’s Project Fi carrier and chose the option of delivering the handsets to a reseller in New Hampshire, a place where sales tax is zero.

The reseller split the profit with customers, though the entire thing failed as the accounts of customers involved got banned by Google. A popular news agency reports, that after a number of objection, the company has reversed its decision and re-enabled the accounts of those that have been banned.

As reported originally customers who took the option of delivering the handsets to a reseller in New Hampshire had their entire Google Account suspended. Leaving them unable to use Mail, Photos, Documents, or any other Google apps linked to their account.
